She’d floated down from heaven, Angel wings Drifting from her safe haven; Looking for a new landing Fluttering Amidst gray still stones standing Beyond the reach of goodness In twilight Of the rescinding darkness. I watched her watching others, From my hiding place shadows, She looked in on young mothers, Too poor for curtained windows. She watched without any sound Crying at those conditions Never touching dirty ground But feeling all emotions. I watched her watching through panes, She didn’t belong in this place, Her beauty marred by tear stains No smile on angelic face. She left with great winged beats Tears left clean spots on the streets. Gloom |

Gloom, when you write of angels I hear the angelic host applauding. Kethry Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind. Unknown |

Your own beauty and gentleness mix with the tears of that angel, and grace this sky blue page with both sadness---and love. Linda |
