Petals of roses and gardenias Have covered our love bed With so very little effort My mind is easily read We lie so close together Beside the flickering candlelight Within each others arms Is where we'll spend this night Our bodies glow in profile As my love for you now burns My heart grows ever fonder It's for you that it now yearns Lips meet in anticipation Warm breath against my skin In this, our game of love We're both guaranteed to win I am in motion |

Such a beautiful love poem.. Enjoyed and thank you for sharing. I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait. |

Sue, you are one of the few people I know who can continually write love poems and each one is more romantic and beautiful than the previous. I just love reading these and have saved each one. Hugs, Marti |
