no one asked Lazarus if he wanted to rise again no one asked Lazarus if he ever felt the pain of cells that spark again to life why return into the strife? No one-- not once did ever ask. They simply proclaimed Lazarus a miracle... that rose again. No one ever felt the pain. But yet they will... one day they will-- and pray for miracles again. |

I really like the premise of this and the style you write it in. Though the last line confused me a bit, given the pain implied earlier in Lazarus' rising. It's something I've wondered about myself, if Lazarus ever said, 'Hey, next time, ask me first'. No matter how good looking she is... someone, somewhere is glad she's gone. |

Karen, You are fascinating indeed. Personally, I think Jesus was a close enough friend to know what He was doing. But dying twice... If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

But yet they will... one day they will-- and pray for miracles again. This one packs a real punch, the last line either a reference to salvation or reckoning, depending on which way you know at it. well, that's my take on it. As always your words crawl deep beneath the skin, and will always gladly let them nest there. I used to make phantoms I could later chase images of all that could be desired then I got tired of counting all of these blessings"h.devoto magazine |
