Crystal snows delight the air and touch the ground in moist
Spoken in a peaceful white with every thought well voiced
Familiar stillness saunters down returning to be known
A look at winter to be told, in frosty autumn shown

November in the falling stage of colors bright and clear
Spells cast upon the landscapes coat in tale of winter near
Forever in the storybooks, o’er rivers and through the wood
A look at winter dressed its best, well heard and understood

Eternally this time of change, this time preludes in peace
Such calm befalls the glen and grass, don scarf and winter fleece
Familiar to this heart returns these images of white
As crystal snows fall softly down within the air delight

Very, Very Beautiful poem...

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

And the Queen of Snow returns slowly to her
warm and humble palace....after another
waltz with her King.....as white leaves of
crystal fall upon the eyes of blue....and
eyebrows raise to yet another thought...
another dance in Winter's waltz...

This ~is~ like right out of a story book.  I love it and can re-read and just get more and more pleasure from it.  Very exceptional. Enjoy a great deal.

Thank you,
Warmly,
Pat

Kathleen,

This is a beautiful poem. I am not looking forward to snow just yet, but have enjoyed your poem immensely.

This throws light and warmth into winter, which is always nice for readers. You could try cutting the rhymes out as an experiment to see if you can make it still as jolly.
