What of words, when my heart has no voice
What of emotions felt, when given no choice
Between moonlight and shadows where lies the night
Between kisses and tears, what’s wrong, what’s right

How do I keep my eyes, from your vision, blind
How do I keep your voice, from haunting my mind
Will there ever be a way to feel your touch
Will there ever come a day, I don’t ache this much

Is there a cure, a magic remedy
Is there an answer, to soothe this need in me
Must this smoldering passion go unspent
Must my love, remain forever unsent

And if wishes and dreams are of the same
Why are you not here, when I speak your name

Susan, you expressed this longing so powerfully.  This is beautiful and very heartfelt.  I've known that feeling myself, but have never been able to express it as you just did.  Excellent, sweetie!

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.
