Do you hear it

i gave up my love
she left me
it shattered loudly
it feels so lonely
here without my heart

I never noticed
how cold it can be
by the fire by yourself
until i look
and see only me

how my tears flowed
this foolish Romeo
left all alone in bed
lonely arms spread
in an empty embrace

I hope you heard
my nonlove
my nonlife
it is my gift to you
proof of my nonlove

i am at a loss
i gave her away
but she'd already gone
i cannot hear her
the pain is to strong

Take a good look at my face
Well, don't my smile look out of place
look a little closer its easy to trace
The tracks of my tears

Very poignant write Paul, but extremely well done. I love your sig by the way, it is one of my favorite songs.

This is a poem I can really relate too as can anyone who just had bad luck with someone they really have cared about. I'm sure everyones been there one time at another I know I have. It gets better it just takes time and trust me writting really helps. Keep up the great work I'm dying to read more.
