I've been absent quite a few times this week why because I love someone so much that poetry wasn't with me I've been absent because the light that used to shine within me has been put out People expect nothing of me won't let me take on challenges won't let me be who I want to be won't accept that I am the way I am because thats how God created me I've been absent because my heart is missing my love for poetry is dying not quite enjoyable not really fun Whats happening where am I what is going on The absence of a poet |

sometimes real life interrupts the process of poetry and a few days later you will be pouring your words here for us to read...it happens almost to everyone...And there is nothing wrong with writing about emptiness... hugs M |

Yes, sometimes life overwhelms and poetry fades, but it will soon return. |

Kellie, Muses are like that. They just take unannounced breaks every now and then. Courage it'll be back. And actually you are young enough to still be developing who you are. Who you are isn't totally known yet, even by you! So expect some surprises. ![]() If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again. |

Happens to all writers. Sometimes if you don't try it can go on for 20 years. That's why it is important to at least try. God bless! |
