“WHEN I RETURNED”

Once I walked through the deep forest,
trees were sighing with the cool wind,
leaves fell making a warm blanket,
branches grew cold, as they thinned…

The same meadow is where you were,
waiting as you would to my return,
I held you close, like I did once before,
felt the passion, as it started to burn…

Only your gentle touch excites me,
it’s your soft lips that make mine melt,
tender fingers to soothe my soul,
delicate, as is your embrace felt…

Once I walked through the deep forest,
when trees sighed to me in the coolness,
their leaves fell upon me in a blanket,
when I returned, to your warmness…

Good poem of love....

I wish to become a great poet some day, but it will only come in time. Til then, I shall write my poems, and wait.

(sigh) Awwwwwwww, this is gorgeous, sweet friend, this had me dreaming of lying in a meadow of daffodils and buzzing happily with the bumblebees! (big hugggssssss) This is lovely, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Bill, thank you for sharing!
