Sunsets On The Beach The renewal of time Can be seen upon the shores of solitude, As the crimson dust of the eve Is scattered across the dusk filled skies, Veiling the humble expression of the setting sun; And the mountains that lie beyond The edges of the world, Shiver in quiet silence As these lavender drops of the coming night Absorb the day`s warmth. From across the way, The sun`s suitor, blows her a kiss And that majestic yellow king Slowly fades into reality, Casting his beaming reflection on the sea; A mirrored background of his red veiled queen Looks on in sadness as night falls And the appearance of her starlings, Means that she will sleep the dreamers sleep Until her early morning yawn Brings the return of the dawn.
