Squiggles, squirms, yet not walk
Sweet baby breath, cannot talk.
Squeaks and squeals, droll on chin.
Wiggles and giggles, clap of hands.

Pampered and puffed, oh so clean.
Open mouth kisses,  not serene!
Bounces dimpled legs they thrash.
Shrieks and screams, oh boy, at
                             last!

Shock of red hair, temper flair,
Wants to get out of the rocking
                             chair.
Calm of sleepiness, it is gone.
Behaves like this for only one.

Squirm get down from mothers care.
Rejoice!!! My ~Nana~ is over there.

..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons..

Pat, this is so good, as is all your work. I love poems about babies, too. And I liked the ending where the baby wanted to get to its Grandmother. Real Cute!
