Harlequin As summer ebbs to autumn gold The harlequin spreads wide his vest From crimson layers the light unfolds Offering up a vibrant jest The harlequin spreads wide his vest Time shimmers on the burnished air Offering up a vibrant jest Finds the dusty brackened lair Time shimmers on the burnished air Young lives are lost through absent care Finds the dusty brackened lair Revealed the cancer we all share Young lives are lost through absent care From crimson layers the light unfolds Revealed the cancer we all share As summer ebbs to autumn gold |

a casual perusal of this would believe this a simple poem...but that would be wrong. seamlessly carved to fit precisely, without the need of nails... it's YOU who amaze. I wish I knew how to write so powerfully vivid without pounding someone over the head with word. *shaking my head over here* |
