Sometimes she is glass, sometimes granite Smooth and clear as crystal Stubborn as stone Storms or the sunset of summer September Swirling churn of emotions, sweet in apple red tone Sometimes relinquishing reason Standing with eyes wide in wait Standing gales and seas in high treason Sometimes to fight all alone Satin and silk to be fondled Sometimes to steel in protect Seeking to know every part of his heart Sometimes the most and the least very tart Sometimes of fear never shown Sometimes she is glass ** Copyright Kkh 11/1/02 |

Simply superb! Your use of alliteration was very effective! A well-balanced woman has both the yin (glass) and the yang (granite)elements to varying degrees. I always appreciate your poetic talent and your views on life and living! EA |

The words in your poem flow so easily, which is a good trait. I loved it! |

"Sometimes she is glass, sometimes granite Smooth and clear as crystal Stubborn as stone" What a beautiful and wonderful way to describe ANY woman...and truthful too. Wish I had said it...glad you did because it just embelished the rest of this wonderful write... jwesley |
