The dust motes like blessings stream down the Sun's rays and land atop, around me. I (we) whose skin constant in shedding adds to the dust bunnies under the cheap, thin bed I've been reduced to. My father sought to cheat the worms, all future archeology by having himself immolated, the dense grey finery really just dust. Dust to dust, ashes to ashes. |

Well done! ...Yes, that's what it comes down to in the fleshly part of this universe...but the spirit lives on, pray thee in harmony with eternity. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

On gray days less streams of shine there seems less activity in a lone room I would have sun just to see the dust motes dance and think from whence they came.... Richard, once again....wow... |

VAS said it so much more eloquently than I could. When reading this my immediate thought was of all the things I might have tried if I believed this was all there is. Then, I blushed! I am feeling ever so grateful for my loving God, and all He has forgiven for the things that I did try and all He blessed, as well. I like this poem a great deal. I take it quite personally, and it is fun to consider the possibilities. Thank you for a quick wonder what if? Warmly, Pat ..without surrender, be on good terms with all persons.. |

Well, I believe that all dust is either fairy dust, or I have been dusted by a previous loved one, but then you know me However, if I were to be less optomistic - I suppose I might think as this but not until I fully grow up. |

Between birth, and ashes, must we live in the dust? Oh, please no, there has to be more. Sometimes, you make me think too much |

It's too early in the AM for me (7AM) as my frontal lobes are still climbing out of a midnite dusty dream. I love to watch dust floating in streams of sunlight, knowing all physical matter is somehow interconnected (not to mention emotional matter). Is this where our MUSES reside? Is this our stream of concsiousness? Too much thinking for my dustbin today. |

(sigh) Somehow I agree with what Mysteria said, I'd rather many times live surrounded in the dust than in a wealthy office as In know seeing the dust there exists so much interconnected particles and there I can find tranquility and solace! (big hugggssssss) This is an excellent thought, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Richard, thank you for sharing! May love and light always shine upon you! Love, Noah Eaton "Underneath your clothes there's an endless story..." |
