It’s been about three years And I have shed so many tears We always seen to fight Almost every other night I can’t seem to rid My mind of all the things he did Some memories good, some memories bad There are so many memories that we’ve had Sometimes he hurts me so That I want him to go But if he didn’t stay I’d miss him once he went away I don’t know what I’d miss As I already miss his kiss I miss his warm embrace I miss the tender look on his face I miss the sweet words from his lips When in trouble, his helpful tips I miss the way he once shared The little ways he showed he cared When I wore a frown He had a way of turning it upside down He’s always put a smile on my face In my heart he has a special place "Love me little, Love me long, Is the burden of my song" - Robert Herrick |

This just touches my heart. It is so sad. I have found myself feeling this way at times. But, then I think about all that I have been through with him, and I know it is better to be apart. I am only speaking of my own life. I do hope yours is better. |

Seymour....I'm glad you enjoyed, thanks for taking the time to read. Sheri....I try to forget the bad times and concentrate on the good. Memories do get you through some tough times. I wish I could let him go...I'm just not ready yet. Thanks for your encouraging thoughts. Noah....Thanks for your sweet words. Life is tough, but the tough times are what makes you stronger. When the time comes that I feel I have done all I can, I will let him go. It will hurt, but I'll be stronger for it. Thanks for reading. Ethel.....nice to see you got around to this one.
