Ode to Pilgrimage A voice that’s soft and full of wit A touch of truth and quite a hit Her humour is so very fine A way of verse that’s just sublime I hear her words they sing to me And see her still so clearly You’ll never meet a finer soul One who’s sure and also whole Pilgrimage my friend you are so sweet I’m so glad that we got to meet Marsha Breathe through the heat of our desire Thy coolness and they balm Let sense be dumb let flesh retire Speak through the earthquake wind and fire [This message has been edited by Marsha (10-31-2002 11:35 PM).] |

OhMarshaLove~ Indeed she is a dear~ Her wit and humor was outstanding ! But ... what I remember best is her speechless awe at standing in the Gulf watching the sun-in-set ... a place she had never been ... now that was a moment to behold~ Nancy ... e-mail me !!! *Huglets* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

Hi! I finally have five minutes to visit, and find my name is being bandied about. What a sweet poem, you must have meant it for a different Pilgrimage. We never DID run into Skinny so we could dip him, did we? And we could have whipped up a Hollandaise sauce in no time. What I'll never forget is the fun we had-even being lost in the wilds of Port Richey was fun! P.S. Before I went to Florida you promised me dancing boys-then you kept me so busy I never got to ask where they were! Nan (Pilgrim variety) |
