Air thick and heavy
as it heaves from my chest
salty tears burst from my eyes
a painful stab
at my softened heart

Remember when I
first came here
I was led here
with a poem
a few kind words
and a new friend

Well today again
the air is thick and heavy
as it heaves from my chest
salty tears are brimming my eyes
but my heart
doesn't feel the pain
its numb

I held in all my pain and sorrow
I let it out a little at a time
in my poetry
only today
I unleashed..
10 gallons of tears

This teacher
She was amazing
This teacher was mine
and shall forever be my guide.

So many emotions, so little words needed ....
     there is no need to drown in your own
     tears with your life perserver only
     words away.

     Your heart maybe soft on the outside ...
     but it sounds whole on the inside.

Oh, Kellie, you are SOOO sweet and tenderheared. You have such compassion for a young lady your age. I can't remember if I've told you before, or not, but you sure do have a lot of talent, friend. You really know how to write poetry and how to get your feelings across.
