Gurgling brooks rush the gate! In a pine cone valley yonder Enter in Peace the dove of night. Colorless, nimble bugs communicate When pockets of dark wonder Gurgling brooks rush the gate! Ranger Krisnosky,cheerless, gray Remembering the Young Enter in peace the dove of night. A silent vintage on red-earth clay Where hickories rising lift asunder Gurgling brooks rush the gate! Standing on a hillock waiting Beams, blight, view, run Enter in peace the dove of night. The sun is a heart that navigates And Nature seems violent, soft and to ponder Gurgling brooks rush the gate! I am afraid I am not right up on my forms of poetry but this looks to be almost Villanelle, and I love the subject you choose, very, very nice. I will look forward to reading more of your work.
