Butterfly bombers.

How precious is the butterfly,
That flutters in the moonlit sky,
Wandering with seeming grace,
Illusive disappearing trace,

Searchlights in the midnight sky,
Monsters droning, flying high,
The beating wings they echo here,
War cry drumming out in fear,

Beauty flits through cloud too shy,
And struggling upon air so dry,
Sails on winds of gentle breeze,
Ripples cast aside with ease,

With all it’s heart it flies so high,
And flutters in the moonlit sky,
Soars above the ghostly cloud,
Tore itself up from the crowd

How precious is the butterfly
That’s looking for a place to die,
It crashes down and ebbs away,
Gliding upwards on a moon ray

Man of words.

A wizard of expression,
A wizard of expression,
Casting the spells of love,

The expression of spells,

Wishing words of magic,

The illusion in your eyes,

The reason for reposting this is quite simple, I'm going to do my rotation as deputy mod on this forum, then I'll probably stop posting here. Pip is made up of a bunch of great people but I'm not happy here at the moment and I'd probably regret what I posted. I am setting up my own set of forums at www.the-poettree.tk and will be accepting members as soon as this post is posted.

Anyway I'd like to thank a few people before I go, thank you to Allan for introducing me to Paradelles and for being such an inspiration, thank you to Cherish for putting up with me whining about how bad my poetry is, thank you Rhonda and Stace for being the inspiration behind some of poetry and finally thank you to anyone who has ever replied to one of my poems.

I can't remember reading the other poem before, and if I had read it before, blame my insane memory for not remembering. You've still got to teach me how to do them though..so I'm still waiting.

It's sad seeing you go, although I know that I wont be deprived of your poetry, we'd be deprived of your presence. And again, no need to thank me

Awesome Paradelle, Zu! Wow...seriously, that is fantastic. Best one that I've seen yet.

I wont say goodbye because I know you'll be back. The amount of times you've said goodbye and still returned to post is unbelievable. However, good luck on all your little adventures for the future and I wish you nothing but success.

I'm extremely impressed with your paradelle.  Butterfly bombers I've already replied to, but the paradelle... just wow.   You've absolutely mastered that form.

I remember when I used to do those a lot, before you picked up on them so much... I kind of had trouble making the sentences really have any kind of literal meaning.  You could look at my paradelles and say well... I kind of see what he's saying.

"Man of Words" is an absolute masterpiece.  I'm going to visit the original post just to add it to my library, after I post this.

It was a pleasure knowing you, Zu.  I hope you have fond memories of me and all the other gang from Teen #4, when you think back on it.

You're one of the good ones.
