I was once told that loving you, Would ruin my world and tear it in two, I didn't care and I took that chance, Now look at you begging for a second chance, I gave you one, when no one else would, I tried to live with it, But no one could, You cheated, you lied, you laughed and you cried, But what for? It didnt matter until you found out, That there was someone new in my life, Now you can't seem to live without, Well my dear ive got some advice, Bite only what you can chew and chew only what you can bite. You did it to yourself, I dont want to hear no more, Everytime I look at you, I want to say there's the door. Don't cry no more, Your problems are gone, You'll find a guy, That someday might give you a chance but until that day remember this. I was once told that loving you would ruin my world and tear it in two Don't do this to another person it really hurts for no apparent reason. |

This poem sums up the phrase "Get over it!" Good job. Love conquers all, so I must be in a losing battle. |

I like that it's angry, but calm... like you're just beyond all the lies and pain of the relationship. You've moved on. The phrase "cry me a river" comes to mind. (Which, is also a song by Justin Timberlake I think. I'm not making references to that. It actually is a phrase that people have used.) i was here |
