Everything seems smaller compared with the lenses I use to hide behind I know am not the same as I was last year I wasn’t the same an hour ago I feel this numb sorrow been sprouted just a minute ago Sometimes I feel its been with me forever The rest of the world has robbed me my own world This isn’t about running away from people nor running away from problems of my shallow clutter nor proving stupidity only exists in reason This isn’t about making things more easier In a way I knew it all along I need to connect with my core to make me stop running away from my hypocrisy I’ll seek under the years Those words hurt because of this deprived soul not because this ego I’ve hung old habits, dried out all tears Each day becomes a shadow of yesterday I’m less than what I should be with this unfinished honesty Could I have been more curious of the devil’s ways? Could I have gone roads of the hypocrite innocent one? I guess I could of… I have no one to blame but the mirrors reflection once again I’m lost in sanitys void. |

You could have.. but then it would not have been your way.. and you'd be doomed to relentless imitation. At least you are you. Sometimes I'm not sure which is more painful.. to be insane or to be sane. Having dipped into certain depths of insanity.. I'm pretty sure that my sanity had put me there. Jaime i was here |

That was a very good poem. Keep up the good work. Laugh often, love much, live well. WinterWren |
