Life is too precious,
To take for granted.
I know that,
Because I did.
You must stay yourself,
And always care.
I know you don’t need to make a mistake,
MY mistake that I sadly made.
Leave me and go on,
You’ll be better off.
I know what’s best because,
If you stay you’ll just get hurt.
So it’s better if I suffer,
Then risking hurting you.
Please don’t make me see,
That life is great and I should care.
So don’t try because it wont do you any good,
I made my mind and no one can change it.
For once I thought I was getting a second chance,
But then reality slapped me in the face.
I don’t need help,
Nor do I need advice.
I do need a friend,
Someone who will make things okay.
Can you be that friend,
No you can’t because you don’t care about me.
I need someone to reach out,
And save me from disaster.
That’ll never happen,
I’m going to go down for what I did.
What was it exactly that I did,
I’m unsure so I sit here and cry.
I need no explanation,
I understand perfectly.
You want to get rid of me,
So you don’t have to deal with me anymore.
So be it,
I don’t care anymore.
Life is over-rated,
And so is caring about yourself.
It won’t make anything better,
So do what you want.
Just never grow up to be something like me,
Or you will be making the biggest mistake of your life.
When I go down in flames,
Always remember I lived the way I saw fit…
So who cares what they think,
They’re only as good as you are so live and don’t let your soul die…
Like I did…

Hope that will return one day,
Will be the cause of my sanity.
Until then I will be,
A lost soul looking for a place to rest.

*wipes a tear away* Are you okay? If you ever need to talk to anyone, I'm here, we all are. Thats what this "Family of Friends," to quote Ron, is for. Don't hesitate to talk to us, k? This was a great poem, btw.

But not at the moment..i thought life was okay...and now it is going crazy!

I know I'm a little late getting to this one,
and I hope that things have gotten better for you,
since you wrote this.
You did a great job of expressing your emotions
in this piece and I felt it as I read. Nicely done.
