this is my first poem to u all i sit alone while the thoughts good and impure fill my head the will of heaven and hell oh the pressure they imbed the girl of my dreams she lives oh but so near i fearfully make advances rejection i cannot bear finding love i try i try but it all ends the same way why god why all that i have they want to see no peace no rest no privacy why all this pain this war this strife i want to let go let go of my life i want to be at peace i want to be me i wamt to be lived I WANT TO BE FREE BY: POETIBFIGHTER |

minus the occasional spelling errors, i found this piece to be emotional and very real. The descriptiveness you used, and asking questions kept me in tune. I really enjoyed it.. thanks for posting. congrats on your first post! -Erica- |

Oye, well, if this dosen't describe my life when I joined pip way back when! I've never found a poem that summed it up better than this. I truly understand how it feels, dude. Welcome aboard, rookie! Have you read any of Aenimal's poetry? I have a feeling you're going to like him. I told him once that among poets there are dancers and there are boxers....the dancers with surprising power, and the boxers with surprising grace....you're the same kind he is.
