I want to be heard I need people to hang on to my every word I want others to stare at me in amazement Instead of disgust I want them to remember what I’ve said As if it changed their lives I want them to see beauty in what I write I want them to long to understand Instead of just brushing me aside I want to capture their souls using only my own I want to be loved and admired To have people watch me in envy I want them to remember my voice As if it were one of an angel I want to see smiles on people’s faces And be proud to know I caused them I want to see tears in people’s eyes And be proud to know I moved them I want to sing I want to write I just want to be heard I want everyone to know what I’m thinking But still be mysterious And remain a part of the shadows I call home I hold secrets but some of them want to escape Why can’t they get the chance? Why won’t people listen? I just want to be heard |

hey lil cherry, i loved your poem.it was deep and definitely original.i have comment on ur poem though,u'll be heard when u stop wanting to be heard.and by the way,u are heard already,thats why i'm replying u... keep up the good job! keep writing and being u...soon,u'll be really heard. I like this but with all the i's and stuff it kinda took away....maybe revise this and take out some i's ( don't that sound a little weird ) LOL otherwise I liked this piece... Riley Morning mist clings to my face, and my soul opens up to you...... |
