I was shown the light that gleamed behind his ebony facade. A light that was hidden from the world which he hated so. I light more bright and warm than the sun. In seeing his secret light I was consumed by it. Not knowing exactly why or how just that I could not be content without it. In the presence of his hidden illumination nothing else mattered except the euphoria that surrounded us both. I seemed to forget all the trivial things that I had once valued as so important. And in forgetting I found room in my heart for him as well as myself. I was able to break free of the social circle that surrounded me and focus on the beauty of life. I relized that there was no room within the confines of conformity for real love. I am forever changed by this light, the light of his soul. |
