Hey! I wrote this a couple days ago... It was a challenge I gave myself a few months ago to be able to write an acrostic sonnet, having a word down the side and also in sonnet format. Anyway, let me know what you think. FOREVERLASTING For so long you were there On and on I cry for you still Real love, distance can't tear Ever flowing love, my heart you fill Visions of our love cross my mind Each day we were together I see Reality sets in and you I can't find Lasting love it must not be Alas, my love, I'll see this through Standing before you, old feelings return Things have changed, but our love is true I love you, yes, there's much to learn Nothing can make me think this isn't real God only knows how wonderful I feel - Cody - Note To Self: If Pigs Can Fly, So Can I!!! If someboy laughs at me, does that make me funny or just plain stupid? [This message has been edited by CwboyAtHeart (11-15-2002 07:14 PM).] |

i reccomend you listen to the some Again I Go Unnoticed by Dashboard Confessional. That song, and this poem, are similar, and true works of polished satisfaction. |

I thought this poem was really good. I'm impressed, sometimes trying to work with the whole 'word going down the side' thing can make the poem sound too forced to fit the word, but you did great. If don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything. |
