The place just beyond my eyes, where my spirit flies.

You are indeed lucky to meet my presence,
Now come on in and I'll give your life's sentence,
After that we'll have a little feast,
Because I'm the almighty Wizard Of The East!
You've traveled my young spirit,
Don't worry about my power son, no need to fear it,
Oh chosen one put your guns on the table,
You're not gonna need 'em while I tell my fable,
Many moons ago I was struck by a white light,
The one your searching for? Am I right?
No need to answer! I can read your mind!
You're feeling like a lost child or something of that kind!
Anyway lets get on with the story,
When I was in the light I felt good and I felt free,
It actually taught me how to be a wizard,
But while I was learning there came a great blizzard,
I really didn't know until the morning after dawn,
That all the people in my town were gone,
I learn everything there is to be known,
And I got no one to share it with, not even a stone,
And while in the light monsters tried to eat me whole,
So upon entering the light BE CAREFUL!
I give you this for when you find the light,
Make yourself strong and make yourself right,
The light contains you for a year and a fifth,
I just hope you have someone to share your knowledge with.

this is the kind of poem that you write at midnight, hide under your pillow that night, let it infiltrate into your mind making your dreams into nightmares.
the next day you rip it up.

its good! Sorry I didn't make that more obvious. But yes, its very good. I like it.
