Perception is person. What has this world shown you, Grand opening ribbons or police caution tape? God brought me into this world with an open hand, I pity those who saw a fist, for they must endure their own. Aspirations aren’t imagined, they are idolized. Never stop searching for greatness. I'm on my feet, I'm on the floor, I'm good to go |

A very positive message is portrayed in this poem. I very well think that you shouldn't let ppl define who you are, but you should define who you are because you are the only one who can be you. Death is not extinguishing the light; |

"Perception is person." I couldn't agree more. In fact, all that anyone truly is, is the sum of their percieved realities. What exists to any person is nothing more than a translation of their sensory stimuli. Without any of these translations, where would we be? Perception is person, there is no doubt in my mind about that. In fact, perception is what creates the illusion of reality. Personally I didn't see the "positive" message that everyone else was groping at. "Never stop searching for greatness?" That's almost despairing... like it can never be found, so never stop searching for it... because it is that search, that you can only ever expect. Greatness is relative, and always will there be something we idolize, as you put it... so the more you reach, the more you have to reach for. Parasite Learn to place poetry before people |
