He has a way of making you smile as he is tearing you apart. Set in your ways stubborn and direct sturdy as pure steel- until he whispers your name. And then his eyes meet yours. And his fingers graze your hair. Then all the determination in the world cannot save you- from his kiss. |

This was great. Well written, and well expressed. That and the fact that I've been there before... sort of... I just have issues... LOL |

*pokes* 'ello Strength woman! Strength and power. Nicely written as per usual. I'm liking your change in style, Jenn. Any sort of emotional attachment sickens me but you write it well so I can let that go for now. nice to be replying to your work again. This is oddly negative... I much enjoy how you take such a universally positive thing as a "kiss" and imply that you must somehow be "saved" from it. You very accurately conveyed your message, and it is one with which I am in agreement: that will is something very fragile, and can be shattered even with no intention at all. Nicely done.
