i want to know
why you threw me out in the cold
i thought that you loved me
but i was just a little pawn in your game
you used me for my fame
then left me there
where, i aimlessly wandered
waiting for you
to be my knight in shining armor
and save me again
but instead
you filled my head
with i love you's and storys
which meant nothing to you
but what did i do?
and then i knew
i was just a little pawn in your game
being used for my fame
i wont even speak your name
but now i know
why i was thrown out in the cold

Interesting... the rhyme is very inconsistent and it reads through really neat....

I like how you implied that you learned the answer to the "why???" at the end of the poem, but... you didn't mention exactly what that answer was... come onnn....

I wanna know!

I really enjoyed reading this. About the 4th time through i decided i should maybe reply. The every-now-and-then ryhme scheme is a nice touch. It flows so well you dont even notice. I'm also going to have to be bothersome and BEG to know why you were thrown out in the cold...you know...the world knows..i wannna know! Thanx for the read..hope to see more of you around here.
