Late one night, in late November I was sitting on the couch – And he caught my glance Looking at him – I saw something A glint in his eye? – Maybe. . . Whatever it was – it was special I could just feel something about him Once or twice, I caught him – Looking in my direction On the couch downstairs Cuddling, holding each other A smile forming upon my lips Wanting more – to feel his lips Back upstairs, his arms around me “You are so adorable” – With a kiss on his cheek “What did I do to deserve that?” A smile forms on my lips As a friend joins in on the conversation “Yeah, tell him, so he can do it again” Standing outside – alone He’s telling me how he feels And I’m hugging him every chance Each of us revealing secrets We’ve held in for nearly a year Always thinking of the other Wondering what they’re up to Wondering if it will ever happen Later that night, I got a surprise He bent down, and whispered – In my ear: “I love you” Have you ever heard that "No shirt, No shoes" rule? My question is...Why doesn't that rule include pants? |

Tamma~ This made me smile for you inside and out. What a wonderful day that must have been for both of you, and you've penned it beautifully. Thank you for responding to the challenge and and thank you for sharing this special day in your life. Hugs, ~Vicky "...until you have read the verse on his heart, |

This is really touching... see what I mean when I say you should write in specific events, to draw out the length of your poetry a bit more? Seems this challenge helped you to organize your inspiration a little bit... awesome!! Hope we'll be seeing a lot more of you in here, Tamma. Oh, and nice pic... Have you ever heard that "No shirt, No shoes" rule? My question is...Why doesn't that rule include pants? [This message has been edited by Tamma (10-20-2002 07:37 PM).] |
