No matter what I tell myself The pain won't go away No matter what I try to think The hurt will always stay The more I try to help myself To keep you out of mind The more I seem to think of you And your kiss that was so kind I know we wern't together long And that things just didn't work You didn't even tell me face to face Man you're such a jerk I cried myself to sleep last nite Wondering how you feel Why did you change your mind last nite? I just wanted to say thanks for the encouragement to write more poems and that I am glad that I can share these with all of you guys. Writing poetry is something that I do a lot and I am glad if it can help someone else. |
