I want to be a color, I don't care which one, it's your call. Something other then black. The scent your hands leave along my skin, it's addictive. And I've got a silly smirk upon my face. Rubber bands bolted to my cheeks. Because your eyes are blue. My eyes are yellow my hair is black. There are evergrowing contrasts. Label me. I'm feeding off of your dead skin, falling onto my red tonuge. The one you finger painted that day. I'm thinking of trading it in. Grab some windex and just wipe me from your mirror. |

I love to read something different and this certainly was unique...there's an energy in this poem that really came through. Well done with this, anya [This message has been edited by anya (09-13-2003 04:14 PM).] |

interesting...there's so much energy in this. Descriptive and emotional. Keep up the good work. ~toasty "Nothing is so strong as gentleness; Nothing so gentle as real strength." -Francis de Sales. |

I heart you, Lexy. This is the kind of poem I love to read. Images, mixed meanings (perhaps some sexual undertones, or maybe thats just me), emotional yet not gushing, and devoid of overused poetics. Wonderful. jaime. the faeries creep into my hair at night leaving it in terrible knots |
