My pulse slows as I take in every rattling breath. And I ask myself Why? Why did all this happen to me? My eyelids droop my arms go limp and I ask myself why? why did i let this happen? I take my last breath as i think of all that I could have done if I hadn't been so stupid and let myself die? My soul floats up to heaven sirens blare around as the paramedics pronounce me dead the pain goes away and I ask myself why? Why did I be so stupid and let myself die. i've let down my friends and family as they mourn my death people say their last goodbyes to my body as it is lowered beneath the ground as i watch them from above knowing why. why i risked my life to save my most beloved. as i look down on them my wings flapping in the wind a smile comes upon my face because i finally know why. Life gave me lemons.....but why do I care???? |

Thanks alot! I've been writing poetry since I was five and I love it! Last year I got second place in my county. I guess it's not that good though....alot of people here are better than me. Life gave me lemons.....but why do I care???? |
