the unknown realm of insanity

Engraved into my heart,
Is everything you once were to me.
Everything we felt about each other,
Welcomes tears into my never ending darkness.

I never want to be near you again,
Nor do I want our memories.
We were wrong,
And messed up, thinking it was “love”.

I will never forget you,
Or how many tears entered my world….
How much pain came across me,
Whispering nothing but your name.

I can still feel you,
With your charm unlike anything else.
I don’t want to be like you,
Yet, we’re one of the same.

I told myself to be strong,
Not to let you upset me any more…
Somehow its not working,
Because Im still spending my nights crying over you.

I can still see you in my dreams,
See you smiling back at me…
Wishing that I couldn’t,
And that we never “in love”...
