So many feelings inside
I don’t know how to express
I want to tell you this
But I don’t know the words

Everything happening at once
My heart being crushed
Feels like there’s a knife stuck
Being twisted in circles

I want to tell someone
But no one will listen
My parents don’t care
It’s like they don’t want me to be happy

My friends listen
But don’t listen
They say they want to help
But they don’t even try

My sister she only makes it worse
I’m supposed to be able to look up to her
But it’s more like I shouldn’t even look at her
She does everything that’s not supposed to be done

My bro, don’t got a real one of those
I got a friend that is the closest thing to one
I got so close to him, he was family
And then he moved away without saying goodbye

I have two real friends
They help and care if I get hurt
They listen when I complain about my problems
When they have problems of their own

There’s one teacher that I can talk to
He listens and talks to me
He understands me
I wish he could be a brother

My grandparents aren’t that close
They care but wouldn’t understand
They will be gone soon
And they barely know me

So I sit here by myself
Keeping everything inside
Maybe someday it will end
Maybe someday I will end it

Love is like quicksand, the deeper you fall the harder it is to get out
