Your childhood is like a nest, An’ when its time for you to go, All ya gotta do is fly Don’t just say goodbye Just stop by once awhile Cuz visitin will bring you a smile to your face, remembering those special nights Throwing water balloons, eatin popsicles on a summer afternoon Don’t just say goodbye……yet Cuz I knows you’ll come on back |

One thing I don't really like in poerty much is slang. It's a nice poem, no doubt. But slang seems to take away from the feeling of it. Somehow...I don't know. But you did write a nice poem. I am the one, the only, Blue~Phoenix. That is who I am now and forever shall be from this point forward. |
