Take me by the hand,
And whisper in my ear,
"Never leave me again,
I need your love, my dear."
Kiss me so gently,
Like it was the first.
My mouth becomes dry,
Like I have an insatiable thirst,
For nothing but you.
My soul is whole again,
As I feel your hand,
Softly caress my skin.
I slowly begin to tremble,
As I feel happiness swell inside me.
My vision has finally cleared,
I can finally see,
That you're the one I love.
I'm falling faster for you,
I look into your eyes and,
Get lost in a love so true.
I hear a voice in the distance,
Saying the words that set me free.
"I'm not afraid anymore."
Who said that? Then I realize,
...It was me...

I hate everything about you!
Why do I love you?
You hate everything about me!

My GOD Staci! This poem...it's so beautiful! I loved every part of it...not a line was out of place! You described everything so perfectly! And I'd also like to say...that I'm happy that you *are* finally, truly happy! You deserve every minute of it, so soak it up and bask in it. LOL. I love ya!
