Once I told you everything, I told you what happened in school, I told you what i wanted, I told you what scared me. Once we did everything together. We raced together, We plated catch together, We wired car stereos together. Now we have drifted away. I dont tell you anything Cause I feel it will disappoint you, And that I have not lived to your expectations. Now theres no time You work all day. I dont want you to know I need help with things i dont know. When you didnt come To my games or awards, I cried all night long. I never wanted to talk to you again. Where did the old days go? All I want is those days back When I didnt worry about disappointing you And didnt cry, because you showed up. I love you Daddy Please act like you love me Like the old days. Hey, this sounds kind of like my dad, except we were never close to begin with. The worst memory of my father is when he didnt show up for my prom... I ended up crying at my own prom.. so I do know how you feel. Good job  |

Hey this is very well written...sounds like me and my mom, only I dont have any games or awards...We drifted apart the most when she started dating her boyfriend....but meh, What can I do about it?
