Tonight I read a letter
That I meant to send to you
And I tore it up
And threw it away
Because when I wanted to send it
I just couldn't. . .

Because we had no stamps
So I waited for a while
And I forgot about the letter
And now it's out of date.
So I'll write you
Another
Because I think we have stamps now.
