Supposedly Supposed To Be When you lose your hope for tomorrow. When everything is cliche. When you grow, To regret yesterday. An empty heart, Your love too far, Away... Supposedly supposed to be, With him not me. Supposedly supposed to be, My heart breaking. Supposedly supposed to be, Making me see, That you don't care. That you are happy. That this is the pain you want me to bare. Supposedly supposed to be... Just friends. When I've lost my ambition. When you have told me off for the last time. When I'm losing sight of the mission. Or this crime I was trying to commit. When I'm just some other you don't know. We've lost our hope for tomorrow. Lost what I thought was true. Because I thought I loved you... Supposedly supposed to be, A stranger to me. Supposedly supposed to be, A foreign feeling. Supposedly supposed to be, No more grief, No more pain, No more belief, Because it was all in vain. We're supposedly supposed to be... Total strangers. © Matthew Peterson 2003 |

Wow, I'm impressed. You took such a creative approach to this piece. I must say I fully enjoyed it. I really liked the third and fourth stanzas. Excellent work here. |

Wow. This was beautiful! Such a neat and creative idea. I've never read anything like this before. I must say...I love it! I will definitely be looking forward to reading more of your work. Beautiful job. I was going to put my favorite part in with the reply...but I liked it all! Beautiful work! "I would sleep forever, if it meant I'd never stop dreaming..."
