Into My Broken Down World

I may appear to be
Loving and friendly.
I may appear to be
Happy and joyful.

I may act
Like I dont need any help.
I may act
Like nothing could hurt me.

But underneath
I am hiding everything
That is true.
I put on a show
So no one will see through
Into my broken down world.

I have no one to love
But one true friend.
I am happy when alone
And joyful in my dreams.

I can always use some help
Even though i dont ask.
Your words and actions hurt
Enough to cry at night.

I talk to my teacher
Instead of my parents
They think I'm someone I'm not
They dont give a chance to prove.
With this you havent cracked the surface
Into my broken down world.
