Into the darkness, I can pour out my fears. Subtle my heart, And cry all my tears.
Into the darkness, Where I run to be alone, Light cannot be kindled; I'm safe here; and home.
Into the darkness, From the valleys of despair, From the horrors of the world, Life hanging by a hair;
But into the darkness When my life around me is hurled, When my heart is hard or blistered, I can soon again face the world.

Facing the world is hard to do...
I dig it.

I like this poem, you did a good job. The only weak points I noticed in the flow were in the second line of the second stanza and middle two lines of the last stanza. Those did not read as easily in my mind as the rest of the write which flowed very, very nicely. Awesome job here, thanks for sharing."Be the Change you wish to see in the world" -Ghandi
