I always wonder
Could my life have been different?
Should I have made different choices?
Did I make mistakes?

I always wonder
Did I have other options?
Was I way out of line?
Should I feel regret?

I always wonder
Could I have done better?
Could I have been a success?
Should I feel shame?

I always wonder
Am I a disappointment?
Am I a failure?
Did I ruin my life?

I always wonder
Could things be different?
Could I have made different choices?
Or should I be proud of where I am?

What a fantastic poem. I can feel your confusion through your words! I often feel the same way as you about life... I cant wait to hear more of your poems- I'm new here.

This was a great poem! Expressed exactly how feel. Always confused whether or not I'm a failure or success. In some ways I'd rather not know. Anyways, this was awesome! Great work! ~Jess

I think we all get confused and that leaves us wondering what we could have done to make us happier, this really grasped this idea and portrayed it well.
