I hate the fact I’m not a tough girl
I love romantic things

I hate to be made to feel unworthy
I love the feeling that love brings

I hate to be controlled
But I love to be overpowered

I hate feeling so ugly
I love when that’s not what matters

I hate to feel so alone
I love to sit in someone’s arms

I hate to feel so vulnerable
I love to wallow in their charms

I hate to cry myself to sleep
I love when someone plays with my hair

I hate knowing that I can’t be perfect
I love the fact that they don’t care

I hate that I can’t live up to this image
I love feeling warm and fuzzy

I hate that I’m still writing
Because there’s no one to keep me busy

i really like is poem, i think is showed the two sides to having someone and not i don't have any pointers for this but keep righting i'll look for more when i can

when you live you begin to die
when you die memories of you life lives in others
when memories of you begin to fade
you truly begin to die

i like the paradox in every stanza! this poem makes you think; i like it....keep up the good work.

Dertah, I do agree with the theroy of love and hate once being lovers, it does seem to be logical...Hehehe
lil cherry---I LOVED your poem, it was refreshing...All I've been reading lately is my poems about a guy...
It isnt the usual love poem. Buty it sure was meaningful,
And thats exactly what this was---Very meaningful.
