something in his child face

a feeling of gently grace
a beauty yet to behold
something in his child face
wispered of a story never told
No magical being evil or good
no faeries with wands in hand
no little red engine that barely could
or flying with Peter Pan
with maturity beyond his years
and quite possibly beyond mine
he has survived to conquer fears
yet had to grow up before his time
The feeling of gentle grace
the beauty yet to behold
something in his child face
screamed that poverty had taken it's toll

The problem with resisting temptation is you never know if you'll get the chance again

thank you for this poem-- i love the title. the poem is really powerful and full of emotion, and it gets at something i've been trying myself to convey in poetry for a long time now.

it was really good keep righting

when you live you begin to die
when you die memories of you life lives in others
when memories of you begin to fade
you truly begin to die
