i wish

i wish
there could be one last embrace
a kiss of affection
one last face to face

i wish
that life wouldve dealt a better hand
or at least a stronger step
on this stair case to stand

i wish
i could stop wishing for these wishes
so full of pain
and go on to live life again

I hit that point just a today actualy. I'm sick of it all as well. Time consuming and not prosperous. Oh well, what you going to do huh? Nice, you seem to have a style all your own... when will you realize it fully??

i love that poem mainly because i too always find myself wishing.and then ending up wishing i'd stop wishing..which is also a wish in itself.i feel u alot on ur poem!

yes, I know the feeling. Always wanting something that you can't have back, its pointless..but you can't stop the desire from building inside..I really enjoyed your poem. Simple but very meaningful.

This was really good.
I especially liked the first stanza, it held something that just seemed to make it really work.

Having cirlces makes you wish for squares. You have both...which will you use?

This was really, really, really good, I enjoyed it a lot.

~I haven't memorized all of the cute things to say but I'm working on it~
