Never before
have these eyes beheld
such true beauty
nor a more fluid grace
than they do
presently-
Quickly melting
within your gaze
as sudden comprehension
blossoms-
Reality, now a sobering
injection,
bringing us back
to earthly soil.

All I see
as you lie before
me-
is the maturing truth
I've always craved,
and I swear it so-
Never before
have these arms of mine
cradled the world...
until tonight.
