where's the soul where's the need am I here at all can I bleed? when I look in the mirror and see my face there's no soul behind the eyes no heart there to embrace why can't I seem to find me when will I know I care where will I find the one to love me who will be the one to dare to delve into my empty soul and see in me something whole to find the light and set me free and somehow find the heart in me but as of yet I am alone trapped inside this body called home and yet I wait to be set free when will I find the real me? wow, great work, toasty. I've been readin' your work and this one left me feelin' very impressed. the best I've read from you thus far. I could relate to this a lot. I really like the ending, nd the fourth stanza. Keep it up. ~Lex.. |
