This is one of my first poems.


It's to long to wait for the day
to come.
It's to long to wait for it to bay
and be over with and done.
It's to long to wait to cry the tears
that I've been holding deep within.
It's to long to wait for all those fears
to pass over me.
It's to long to wait for my Angel to come
and take me to a better place.
It's to long to wait for the screams to pass
and the fire to stop.
But I can wait for you to come home
safe from the war.


My cousin is over seas. So this is for him.
