Confusion fills my mind As I sort through Other people’s comments and My own feelings. I don’t know what to think When people say you like me. It seems too good to be true, That someone like you, Could have feelings for Someone like me. I look at facts and here-say, Which tells me it could be true. I can’t break down my wall And believe it just yet, Because everytime I do, I end up picking up the pieces of My broken heart and I can’t believe that it won’t happen again. Although confusion overwhelms me, I see what is happening And I realize that I could get hurt, But I open my heart to you anyway. I am a hopeless romantic not because I am hopelessly in love and not because love is hopeless. I am a hopeless romantic because I do not see the hop |
